Bryce Canyon, Utah Engagement Photography

Even being from Utah, I haven’t seen it all just yet. 5 National Parks, 46 state parks, and peaks that reach over 13,000 feet. But, I’m glad I could knock off this location in Southern Utah and get to share some photos from it.

I’ve passed through and spent short amounts of time around Bryce Canyon but never had the opportunity to explore it. Thankfully, this wonderful couple was getting away to Utah from Jersey and was trying to see all the sights they could while visiting. We did our research a bit and settled at Peekaboo Canyon, with some of our most famous red rocks and most recognizable unique structures only home to Utah.

Hiking down in winter, I would not recommend it unless you have some crampons for the trek. Thankfully, Utah was gracious this year, and its winter conditions were on the mild side. So, hiking in a suit and dress for the couple was possible (we were very lucky). We climbed down the cliff side, rocks, ice, and thankfully a warm winter day taking shot after shot as we explored.

There were laughs shared and stories swapped on our short hiking outing together. Very thankful for the experience and to have the opportunity to make it down south for a unique location in my home state. There is plenty more to say, but I will ramble on. I hope you enjoy the photos, and if you’re ever looking for someone to capture you and your fiance’s love and explorations in Utah and beyond, I’d love to be the one to do it. Thank you :)
